Hello Sussex Leaders:

After several months of searching for a district executive, it is with great pride I inform you that we have hired a full-time district executive for our district. William (Bill) Zinky from Derby, Connecticut will join our district on December 16, 2014. He comes to Sussex District with more than 20 years of experience in the Scouting profession. Bill is currently a district director in Housaonic Council located in Derby Connecticut. He has held various district executive, camping, and program director positions across the northeast.

Bill SanFilippo, our interim district program specialist, will leave our district on December 31, 2014 taking on a new role as the 2015 Liberty Jamboree staff advisor at the council. During this transition time, you may contact either Bill with questions. We will send you Bill Zinky’s contact information in the near future as well as update our website.

Please join me in welcoming Bill Zinky to our District.

Alison McHose
District Chairman
