Help Wanted!

We need a Roundtable Commissioner for our Cub Scout Roundtable. So until we get one, let's work together and put one together!

A roundtable is a monthly meeting which consists of training and information for all of our Scout Leadership in our District on the 1st Thursday of each month from September to May.

Each June is the Trade Show of Scouting which is a Council wide Roundtable which features Council Program and Vendor Displays to help you plan your unit's programs.

Roundtables start at 7:30 PM Here's a sample Roundtable 90 minute timetable:

• Schedule: 7:30 to 7:45 = General Session of both Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Venture Leadership.
• 7:45 to 8:45 = Split sections for Cub and Boy Scout leaders that cover program helps for the next month plus pass information that pertains to their level.
• 8:45 to 9:00 = Closing remarks, question and answer period, dismissal

Sometimes, we have Leader training featured in parallel of the split session. Example - youth protection training.

All you need to do is come up with a 60 minute Cub Scout program using these guides:

January for February

February for March

March for April

April for May

*May for June
